The Billing and Compliance Clerk reviews and verifies all documentation related to vehicle purchases to ensure accuracy and compliance with Asbury guidelines.

1. Examine contracts to ensure conformity to requirements.
2. Review and verify paperwork/deal jackets for compliance.
3. Ensure documents are signed and completed accurately.
4. Process paperwork promptly.
5. Post new and used deals to accounting records.
6. Issue checks for lien payoffs and submit to financial institutions.
7. Communicate and resolve issues with the Accounting Manager.
8. Make daily corrections if necessary.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
10. Understand deadlines and prioritize tasks with appropriate urgency.
11. Automotive accounting or CDK experience is preferred.
12. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment.
13. Strong attention to detail required.
14. Ability to work collaboratively in an open office environment.
15. Must be at least 18 years old.
16. Must pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test).
