Job summary

Kent Daniels & Associates, part of Array Corporation, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client in Downtown Los Angeles. The role centers on accurate client billing, drafting final bills, and ensuring timely invoicing.

You will collaborate with attorneys and support staff, monitor unbilled time, generate pro forma bills, perform manual calculations, and prepare billing reports and engagement letters while helping with collections and maintaining client folders.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions.
• Elite or Aderant legal billing experience is required.

Responsibilities

3. Monitoring unbilled time.


4. Generating pro formas and drafting bills, ensuring client billing arrangements are followed.


5. Performing manual calculations.


6. Preparing write-up/write-down forms along with obtaining approvals.


7. Preparing billing reports, fee and disbursement summaries, and final bills.


8. Handling collections matters to resolve issues.
