Job summary

Precision-Pipeline-Solutions is hiring a Billing Associate for our New Windsor, NY location to handle unit entry and invoicing for utility customers. The role reports to the Lead Business Unit Controller and collaborates with Operations and Finance to meet billing and collection goals.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in billing processes, with proficiency in Excel and SAP; a High School diploma is required, with a preferred accounting/finance degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, SharePoint and Outlook.
• SAP accounting systems experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather billing data from Operations for completeness and accuracy.
• Review time and expense entries in the accounting system.
• Reconcile unit entry data with customer records and fix discrepancies.
• Prepare invoices and credits with supporting documents and upload to billing platforms.
• Maintain relationships with customer personnel to facilitate reconciliations and collections.
• Attend weekly meetings with Finance and Operations to discuss billing status.
• Provide payment status details and track discrepancies for resolution.
• Generate reports and deliverables as requested.
