Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a detail-oriented billing specialist to ensure accurate invoicing and timely processing. You will set up new customer accounts, collect and compile billing records, and input data into our systems with care.

You will monitor payments, address overdue balances, and assist with collections when needed. Strong MS Office skills and professional communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of billing or directly related experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Billing/Financial software.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of billing and invoicing process.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain customer information.
• Prepare and distribute invoices with service dates and amounts due.
• Monitor accounts, track overdue payments, and report findings.
• Assist with collections by contacting customers as needed.
• Respond to billing questions via phone and email and maintain records.
