Job summary

Choice Legal is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team onsite in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on accurate invoicing of invoices to clients and carriers using various billing software, and verifying orders before processing.

The position requires analyzing invoices and client orders for accuracy, monitoring emails for rush orders, and reporting daily productivity to the Supervisor. Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of billing procedures.
• Must be highly motivated and directed with the ability to prioritize.
• Minimum of six months relevant experience.
• Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 45 wpm.
• Must be able to bill invoices accurately with reasonable output.

Responsibilities

• Bill invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyze invoices and client orders and/or supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Monitor emails for critical orders or rushes and process promptly.
• Report daily productivity to Supervisor.
• Assist Level II/III functions such as re-billing, creating orders from third party invoices, and training billers where needed.
