Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Mankato accounting team. You will collaborate with project teams to invoice clients and provide accounting support across the firm, helping ensure accurate and timely billing.

The role requires an Associate degree in accounting, 4 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with bill rate methods; Deltek experience is preferred. We offer a robust benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or closely related field.
• Four (4) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard billing functions of the firm including reviewing project agreements and establishing billing terms to accurately invoice clients.
• Identify, establish, and apply project-specific billing rates per agreement.
• Utilize electronic invoicing program to review billable labor and expenses charged to projects.
• Submit invoices through client-specified online portals.
• Provide accurate and timely billing support to clients and team members.
