Job summary

Triage Staffing is seeking a Billing Specialist to support our billing operations by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for healthcare staffing services. You will reconcile invoices, collaborate with recruiters, account managers, payroll, and AR to verify hours and placements, and resolve discrepancies.

The role requires strong Excel and billing software skills (NetSuite, Bullhorn), excellent communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience in office/administrative role; healthcare staffing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a billing portfolio and strengthen client/MSP relationships.
• Reconcile invoices with timesheets, contracts, and supporting docs.
• Prepare, review and submit accurate invoices for services.
• Coordinate with Recruiters, Account Managers, Payroll, AR to verify hours/placements.
• Follow up to minimize uncollectible receivables.
• Investigate & resolve billing discrepancies with internal/external contacts.
• Identify and implement process improvements for billing accuracy/efficiency.
• Ensure billing practices comply with policies and regulations.
• Generate billing reports and assist month-end close.
