Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is partnering with a leading entertainment company to fill a Billing Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis in Santa Monica, CA. The role supports the full billing cycle, including invoicing, contract review, expense tracking, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in billing or AR, experience in professional services or entertainment, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or project accounting experience.
• Experience working in professional services, media, entertainment, or similar environments preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle experience a plus) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

This role will support the full billing cycle, including invoice preparation, contract review, expense tracking, reconciliations, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process client invoices in accordance with contract terms
• Review engagement agreements and billing schedules for accuracy
• Track billable expenses and assist with invoice reconciliations
• Partner with accounting, AR, and internal business teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate billing records within ERP and CRM systems
• Support month-end billing activities and reporting
