Beacon Hill is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization to hire a detail-oriented Medical Biller. This role supports the revenue cycle through accurate billing, payment posting, account reconciliation, and denial resolution while delivering excellent service to patients and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical billing, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, and proficiency with billing software and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical billing or patient accounting.
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Understanding of insurance reimbursement methodologies and denial management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review charges to ensure accurate billing and coding.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process refunds as needed.
• Reconcile patient accounts and assist with resolving billing discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute patient statements and billing notices.
• Verify appropriate insurance assignments and coverage information.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and work denials to maximize reimbursement.
• Respond to patient billing inquiries and document account activity within the practice management system.
• Maintain compliance with billing regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support additional revenue cycle and administrative functions as needed.

This individual will support the revenue cycle process through accurate billing, payment posting, account reconciliation, claims follow-up, and denial resolution. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in medical billing practices, coding, and insurance reimbursement, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service to patients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
