Job summary

Harris Computer in Little Rock, AR is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable specialist to manage invoicing, credits, debits, and customer account maintenance.

You will collaborate with various departments to resolve problem accounts, support collections for billing issues, and prepare information for month-end and quarter-end closing. Strong communication, analytical skills, and accuracy with large transaction volumes are essential; knowledge of accounting systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, credits, debits and customer account maintenance.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve problem accounts.
• Coordinate with Collections to resolve billing issues.
• Provide timely responses to customer and employee information requests.
• Prepare data for month-end and quarter-end reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Invoicing, credits, debits, etc. (customer account maintenance)
• Proactively communicating to various departments on problem accounts
• Working with the Collections Department to resolve customer billing issues.
• Providing timely responses to customer and employee requests for information
• Preparing information required for the month-end, and quarter-end
• Account reconciliation

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or relevant experience

COMPENSATION DETAILS

The potential hourly pay rate is $19 to $21, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
