Job summary

SPS Commerce is seeking a Billing Analyst to join the Finance team, supporting the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, validating billing accuracy, and ensuring SOX alignment across contracts and usage data.

This role requires 2+ years in billing or revenue operations, experience with ERP/CRM systems, and strong analytical skills. It is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis with the option for remote work and a focus on process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in billing, order-to-cash, revenue operations, or finance operations.
• Strong analytical ability to validate data and assess downstream financial impact.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems for transaction validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with level 2 reviews/validations and policy/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Process contract updates, credits, usage imports, invoice updates, and customer changes with high accuracy.
• Conduct cross-system data validation to ensure completeness and readiness for execution.
• Perform level 2 review of billing update requests for contractual accuracy and feasibility.
• Research and resolve billing exceptions using structured analysis.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest process, documentation, or control improvements.
• Maintain billing documentation and adhere to operational controls and audit requirements.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and data requests with accurate data pulls.
