Job summary

Taylor White is hiring a Billing Manager to build and scale a brand-new billing operations function in a rapidly growing organization. You will lead a team of five to ten, own the full billing cycle, and drive automation across multiple ERP systems.

The role blends operations and finance, with exposure to strategic initiatives and new acquisitions. A bachelor’s in accounting/finance is required, MBA a plus, and prior supervisory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA a plus.
• Supervisory experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, receivables, collections, and payment applications.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis and reporting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with large multi-system data sets.
• Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make sound decisions independently.
• Process improvement mindset with comfort leading change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop an expanding team of billing and receivables professionals
• Oversee the full billing cycle, from invoice creation through cash collection
• Manage receivables, aging, dunning, and payment application to keep cash flowing predictably
• Resolve escalations and reconcile billing and customer account discrepancies independently
• Build and scale the billing department as acquired businesses come onboard
• Integrate billing and revenue processes for newly acquired organizations
• Partner with IT to automate and standardize billing workflows for efficiency and scale
• Contribute to the migration of billing and revenue processes onto a new ERP platform
• Learn how billing data is generated, calculated, and flows into invoicing and revenue reporting
• Align billing practices, fee structures, and policies across multiple business units
• Create KPIs, dashboards, and user-friendly reporting from multiple data sources
• Support pricing analysis, revenue recognition, audits, commissions, and budget and forecast cycles
