Job summary

CLA is seeking a Central Billing Coordinator in Tempe, AZ to champion client billing and practice management across services. You will collaborate with CRLs and engagement teams to ensure accurate invoicing, identify discrepancies, and monitor billing trends while supporting revenue cycle activities and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related administrative experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday or similar PSA software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate with CRLs and engagement teams on billing expectations and industry standards.
• Review billing information to identify discrepancies or errors; maintain accurate billing records.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations and billing trends across the firm.
• Process and monitor invoices for accuracy; prepare and submit reports on billing activities and trends.
• Participate in billing-related matters such as new client setup and data validation; maintain Billing Schedules.
• Assist in communicating with clients and CRLs to resolve billing issues.
• Support revenue cycle management tasks including AR posting, adjustments, and helpdesk support as needed.
• Follow up on aging AR and assist leadership with production, profitability, and WIP analysis weekly.
