Job summary

Conterra Networks is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Charlotte headquarters. You will own end-to-end billing for products including fiber, Ethernet, Hosted Voice, Managed Services and E-Rate funding, ensuring accurate entry, timely invoicing, and proper cash application.

As a cross-functional partner, you will work with Sales, Service Fulfillment, Customer Care, Collections and Accounting to resolve issues, maintain controls, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience in a high-volume environment.
• Telecom or utility billing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Sitetracker.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate billing entry and setup for all products and services.
• Generate and review monthly invoices and ensure accuracy.
• Apply payments timely and research unapplied cash.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support E-Rate billing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize revenue leakage.
