Job summary

Conterra Networks in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end billing processes for products and services. You will perform order entry, set up recurring and one-time charges, and ensure accurate invoicing in alignment with contracts and pricing approvals.

The role emphasizes meticulousness, timeliness, and clear written and verbal communication while collaborating across Sales, Fulfillment, Care, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience in a complex, high-volume environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate order entry and billing setup for all products and services.
• Generate and review monthly recurring and non-recurring invoices.
• Apply customer payments accurately and timely; research unapplied cash and discrepancies.
• Research billing inquiries, disputes, and customer questions; prepare adjustments and rebills.
• Partner with Sales, Service Fulfillment, Customer Care, and Accounting to resolve issues.
