Job summary

WM is seeking a Billing Manager to oversee the Billing function in a professional office setting in Baton Rouge. The role focuses on planning, directing, and ensuring accuracy of ledger accounts and financial statements.

You will supervise staff accountants, manage resource allocation, and monitor processes to achieve department and company goals, while guiding personnel development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or similar area.
• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 7 years of previous experience beyond education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning and direction of Billing activities including ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepares and maintains account records and billing data; organizes resources.
• Oversees operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
• Monitors Billing processes, procedures and expenses; drives team performance toward goals.
• Provides guidance and leadership to staff accountants.
• Oversees personnel needs including selecting, coaching, training, and evaluating performance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

High School Diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience
