Plante Moran is seeking a Centralized Billing Team Lead to oversee a team of billing specialists, ensuring accurate invoice creation and timely processing. The role collaborates with Partnership, Job Billers, and Job Managers to drive billing integrity and firm revenue realization.

Reporting to the Centralized Billing Manager, this exempt role requires five years in a high-volume setting, ERP experience (preferably Workday), and strong Excel/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with a large ERP system, preferably Workday or similar.
• Working knowledge of electronic billing procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and supervise a team of billing specialists to ensure efficient and accurate invoice creation.
• Demonstrate understanding of billing and revenue components.
• Review invoices timely and accurately; correct as needed.
• Own billing procedures and address difficult billing matters.
• Resolve issues arising from invoice creation; maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing activities.
• Support data clean-up in the practice management system.
