Job summary

Plante Moran seeks a Centralized Billing Team Lead to supervise billing staff, oversee invoice creation, and ensure accurate, timely client invoicing. You will work closely with Partnership, Job Billers, and Job Managers to optimize revenue realization and address complex billing matters.

The role requires five years in a fast-paced environment, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel/ERP experience. This exempt position involves potential hours beyond 40 per week to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration or related field.
• Five years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced billing environment.
• Experience with a large ERP system, preferably Workday or similar software
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication ability and cross-department collaboration

Responsibilities

• Report to the Centralized Billing Manager and supervise billing staff.
• Review and monitor invoice proposals for timely, accurate invoicing.
• Demonstrate understanding of billing and revenue components.
• Resolve invoicing issues and own billing procedures.
• Manage multiple client and biller relationships and WIP.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper billing activities.
• Support data clean-up in the practice management system
