Job summary

Falck US is seeking a Billing Manager to lead a hybrid team of billing specialists in Mesa, focusing on accurate, timely, and compliant claim creation. You will drive revenue, cash flow, and cost efficiency while developing a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

You will partner with Billing Leads and cross-functional teams to standardize practices, optimize workflows, and deliver First Pass Accuracy in billing for multiple markets and contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare operations, or similar data-heavy environment.
• Previous leadership of people or formal readiness for people-management role.
• Familiarity with billing platforms (Logis or similar) and payer portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a hybrid team of billing specialists to meet performance and quality targets.
• Set clear expectations, give feedback, and coach team members into specialists.
• Build a culture where people own their results and learn new tools and methods.
• Secure efficient daily billing operations for contracts, including eligibility checks and submission.
• Plan staffing, queues and workflows so claims are processed accurately and cost-efficiently.
• Monitor metrics and act early when performance drifts.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners.
• Support standardization of best practices and leverage automation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Insurance Relations, Patient Experience, and Transformation.
• Establish and report KPIs for markets and guide priorities.
