Job summary

Falck US is seeking a Billing Manager to lead a growing RCM hub in Mesa, overseeing a ~15‑person team. You will drive accurate coding, timely submissions, and compliant billing while shaping a culture of proactive improvement and patient‑centered service.

You will partner with operations, insurance relations, patient experience, and transformation to optimize revenue, cash flow, and efficiency, with a focus on First Pass Accuracy and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Have experience in Revenue Cycle Management, medical billing, healthcare operations, or a similar data‑and process‑heavy environment.
• Have previously led people or been a strong informal lead (e.g. senior biller, lead, or supervisor) and are ready for a formal people‑manager role.
• Are comfortable working with billing platforms (ideally Logis or similar) and payor portals, and you’re not afraid of learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a hybrid team of billing specialists to meet performance and quality targets.
• Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and coach team members into subject‑matter experts.
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient daily billing operations for assigned contracts: eligibility checks, documentation review, coding, and submission.
• Plan staffing, queues and workflows to process claims accurately and cost‑effectively.
• Monitor KPIs like backlog, turnaround time, productivity, and quality, and act on drift.
