What You’ll Do
- Own the Billing Process: Lead end-to-end invoicing and cash application, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Lead a High-Impact Team: Manage and mentor a billing team, fostering a supportive and performance-driven culture.
- Optimize and Innovate: Design, implement, and continuously refine billing workflows and best practices to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Drive Performance Excellence: Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure operational success, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and Report: Generate insights through financial reporting and billing trend analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with accounting, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize billing systems and automation tools to increase accuracy and productivity.
- Problem-Solve Proactively: Tackle billing issues head-on, develop solutions, and mitigate risk before it impacts the bottom line.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in billing management, accounts receivable, or related financial roles—ideally in fast-paced environments.
- Leadership: A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams toward shared goals.
- Technical Know-How: Solid experience with invoicing, cash application, and financial reporting. Familiarity with ERP systems—SAGE 300 is a plus!
- Process-Driven Mindset: Passion for improving systems and workflows to drive accuracy and efficiency.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented approach to solving complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal teams and external partners.
- Compliance Awareness: Working knowledge of financial regulations and billing compliance standards.
