The GBS Group is seeking a Billing Clerk to join the Project Controls department. This engineering firm manages diverse projects across Maritime, Federal, and Transportation industries and supports financial health of jobs and quoting opportunities.

The Billing Clerk will handle invoice creation, posting, notes on accounts receivable, and expense reconciliation in collaboration with Project Controllers. On-site role in Virginia Beach, VA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or math preferred.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Experience with Business Central is a plus (not required).

Responsabilités

• Bi-weekly, monthly, and milestone creation of invoices in accounting system for approval on FPP, TM, and CPFF type contracts.
• Post approved invoices in accounting system, format invoice, compile/complete necessary documents required for submission (e.g. expense reports, timesheets, ecrafts, standard form), and submit invoices through email or portal depending on the contract requirements.
• Update notes on accounts receivable.
• Issue credit memos as needed.
• With the help of Project Controllers, process expense reports and reconcile company paid-expenses.
