Job summary

Perkins Eastman is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional in Chicago to manage high-volume invoicing and ensure timely, accurate billing in a hybrid work environment. You will coordinate with project managers and accountants, prepare monthly billing analyses, and resolve unbilled labor issues to maintain client satisfaction.

Your role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle multiple billing tasks in a fast-paced professional services setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required and bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in architectural, engineering and construction.
• ERP experience with Deltek Vision desired and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of complex bills and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
• Collaborate with project managers/project accountants to coordinate invoicing activities.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and analyses, and follow up on corrections promptly.
• Review unbilled labor reports to ensure services are billed to clients on time.
• Respond to client inquiries and troubleshoot billing issues; escalate when needed.
• Monthly assessment of net billing versus net revenue.
