Job summary

Perkins Eastman, a global architectural design practice, seeks a Finance & Accounting professional in the United States to process high-volume bills and ensure accurate invoicing per client contracts. The role collaborates with project managers, prepares billing reports, and resolves billing inquiries in a hybrid setup across multiple cities including New York, Dallas, Chicago, and more.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in Architectural, Engineering and Construction.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of complex bills.
• Ensure invoicing is timely and accurate per client contracts and internal controls.
• Coordinate with project managers/accountants for invoices and related activities.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and analyses; coordinate follow-up and corrections.
• Review unbilled labor reports to ensure services are invoiced timely.
• Address client inquiries and resolve issues; escalate as needed (audit requests, payment reconciliation).
• Monthly assessment of net billing versus net revenue.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
