Job summary

Perkins Eastman, a global architectural design practice, is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional in the New York area with a hybrid policy. This role handles high-volume, complex billing and ensures invoices align with client contracts and firm policies.

You will work with project managers and accountants to prepare monthly billing reports, correct discrepancies, and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $70,000.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a professional services environment, preferably architectural/engineering/construction.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling information.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume of complex bills.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing per client contract and internal controls.
• Coordinate with project managers and project accountants on invoicing activities.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and analyses; follow up on corrections promptly.
• Review unbilled labor reports to ensure timely invoicing to clients.
• Correspond with clients, troubleshoot, and escalate as needed.
• Monthly net billing vs net revenue assessment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
