Job summary

GEODIS in Pomona, CA is hiring a Billing Clerk to join our logistics team. You will verify invoice data, maintain billing records, and communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies. This role requires attention to detail, solid Excel and Word skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8am–5:30pm. Competitive pay between $18 and $20 per hour, with eligible bonus opportunities and access to benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• PC proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication with internal/external customers.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; read/interpret documents.
• Ability to carry out instructions written or oral.

Responsibilities

• Verify invoice entry with correct names, addresses and references.
• Confirm invoices include applicable accessorial charges.
• Maintain current billing procedures and rate structures.
• Revise invoices for billing errors and post to GL.
• Enter invoices into customer invoicing portals and via EDI.
• Correspond with customers regarding invoices and inquiries.
• Support GEODIS programs on Safety, Health, Ethics, CSR and Sustainability
• Perform other duties as required
