Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service Representative near Alpharetta, GA, for an initial 6-month contract with a view to full-time. The position is hybrid (office once a week) with a pay rate of $20–$22 per hour on contract.

Intermediate Excel proficiency and job references are required. The role involves handling inquiries, resolving past-due balances, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, collections or customer service/billing.

Responsibilities

• Approve resolution of customer service or billing complaints by authorizing refunds or adjusting bills.
• Approve the referral of unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
• Review, monitor and audit records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes.
• Solicit sale of new or additional services or products.
