Job summary

The City of Chandler is seeking a Utility Services Lead Representative to join the Billing team. This regular full-time role offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with a potential hybrid arrangement after successful probation.

The position focuses on billing for residential, commercial, and public customers, while leading Utility Billing Representatives and supporting collections and related processes to ensure accurate invoicing and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in math or business preferred.
• 3 years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, collections or accounts payable with at least 2 years in large-volume utility billing.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead for Utility Billing Representatives and serve as a subject matter expert for billing, collections, and customer service.
• Process invoices for residential, commercial, and other public customers.
• Provide support for collection activities and ensure consistent billing processes and excellent customer service.
