HX5 in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks a Billing Specialist I / Accounting Specialist to join our corporate office. You will develop and interpret complex financial concepts, perform monthly government and contractor billings, and support project cost reporting.

Responsibilities include evaluating cost records, updating Costpoint projects, preparing labor accruals, and reviewing subcontractor invoices while ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience helpful.
• BS in accounting a plus.
• Discretion and confidentiality required.
• Attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Completes monthly billing to the government or prime contractor on various contract types: Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time & Materials
• Completes monthly project financial reporting requirements (CDRLs, FMERS, EAC/ETC)
• Analyses financial information & labor hour utilization to determine present and future financial performance
• Updates reports for Program Management Offices for cost/utilization and forecasts
• Reviews costs for contract allowability and updates Costpoint projects and funding
• Prepares monthly labor accruals and reviews subcontractor invoices
• Reviews travel expense reports for proper charge codes and contractual compliance
