Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Billing Coordinator in San Diego to support project invoicing, labor and subcontractor transfers, and revenue recognition across multiple programs.

You will prepare draft invoices, obtain approvals, reconcile with the invoice register, gather backup, and maintain period job costing records while collaborating with Project Analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates degree in accounting or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Process sub consultant invoices - obtain appropriate approvals, enter into accounting system, update logs.
• Coordinate with Project Analyst regarding billing instructions and invoice approvals.
• Process Labor transfers and sub-consultant transfers.
• Create draft invoices for review, finalize after approvals, copy final invoice for mailing and electronic filing.
• Modify/Void prior period invoices as instructed by Project Analyst, process any necessary changes (reissue, write down, transfer).
• Ensure all invoices are posted and reconciled with invoice register.
• Assist Project Analysts with opening of new projects or phases.
• Gather reimbursable backup, attach to invoices and answer questions regarding backup if necessary.
• Maintain period job costing records electronically.

The pay range for this California position is $26.00- $30.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
