Job summary

AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY is seeking a Sr. Manager, Customer Service Technology Billing & Collections to lead the technology platforms for Billing, FI-CA, and Collections in a regulated utility environment.

You will partner with Billing Operations, Credit & Collections, Revenue Protection, and Customer Accounting to ensure systems are stable, accurate, and compliant, driving improvements in billing accuracy and customer-focused collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years IT experience in customer-facing tech.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams on complex systems.
• Proven experience with CIS billing, IS-U FI-CA or similar platforms.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own billing, FI-CA and collections technology platforms.
• Ensure system reliability during billing cycles.
• Lead root-cause analysis for billing defects and collections issues.
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical designs.
• Support testing activities with emphasis on bill accuracy and customer impact.
