Job summary

RealManage, LLC is seeking a Billing and Collections Consultant in Plano, TX to manage day‑to‑day billing, assessment administration, and collections for HOA accounts. You will ensure accurate billing, proper payment application, and compliant collection steps under state statutes and company policy.

Reporting to the Billing and Collections Manager, you will support delinquency reduction and provide guidance to community managers and homeowners on billing procedures, while maintaining data

Qualifications

• Requires 2–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
• Preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with FDCPA and state HOA/condo collection statutes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and association management software.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate recurring assessment billings, special assessments, and late fee charges.
• Reconcile homeowner account balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor delinquency and maintain collection steps per policy.
• Prepare delinquency notices, payment plans, and demand letters.
• Refer delinquent accounts to third‑party collection agencies or attorneys as needed.
• Track collection activity and report status changes to Manager.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding payment options and balances.
