Job summary

RealManage, LLC is seeking a Billing and Collections Consultant to manage day‑to‑day billing, assessments and collections for assigned community associations. Ensure accurate bills, proper posting of payments, and compliance with policy and state statutes.

Reporting to the Billing and Collections Manager, the role supports reducing delinquencies and recovery goals, serving as a resource for managers, homeowners, and boards on billing procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience handling HOA billing and delinquencies.
• Knowledge of governing documents and state statutes.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Verify recurring assessments, special assessments, and late fees.
• Ensure configurations align with governing documents and fee schedules.
• Reconcile balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor delinquencies and apply company collection steps.
• Prepare delinquency notices, payment plans, and demand letters.
• Refer delinquent accounts to third‑party agencies or attorneys as needed.
• Track collection activity and report status to manager.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners about options and balances.
• Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to policy.
• Support training and process improvements in billing and collections.
