Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of billing/accounts receivable or related accounting/finance experience; Waste Management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office/Windows, data entry, ten-key, and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Compile data and create customer invoices with accuracy.
• Process ~1.7 million invoices monthly representing about $1.1 billion in revenue.
• Learn and use the WM billing system for invoice creation under supervision.
• Review customer accounts for accurate billing and perform data integrity checks.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues and customer inquiries promptly.
• Support billing adjustments and refund processing as needed.
• Research and resolve unfamiliar issues and follow SOX controls.
