Job summary

DiVal Safety Equipment's Buffalo headquarters is seeking a Billing Clerk to ensure accurate customer invoicing, timely submissions, and organized accounting support. You will work with multiple billing portals, process daily transactions, resolve submission issues, and support a collaborative accounting team.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring submissions, balancing payments, maintaining customer accounts, and generating weekly billing reports for local and remote

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices through multiple billing portals.
• Monitor invoice submissions and promptly resolve failed uploads, rejections, or status issues.
• Process daily invoices for Training, First Aid, freight, and drop-ship orders.
• Balance and post store payments, including cash, credit cards, and gift certificates.
• Maintain sample, warranty, credit memo, and other assigned customer accounts.
• Track weekly billing activity and prepare reports for local and remote warehouse operations.
• Organize billing documentation and support the Accounting team with related projects.
