Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL) seeks a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I in Chattanooga, TN. The role supports lease development and portfolio management through invoicing, reconciliations, data management, and customer support.

Onsite/Hybrid; strong accounting foundation and customer-service mindset are essential. The ideal candidate will excel in data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvements, with 2+ years of accounting or related experience or a 4-year degree

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented accounting professional with strong accounting processes knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; able to analyze financial data.
• Customer service experience is required; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; able to adhere to guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, reconciliation, and data integrity for lease/loan portfolios.
• Ensure adherence to risk management and financial guidelines; document and approve exceptions.
• Maintain relationships with carrier clients' operational departments for leasing program administration.
• Suggest process improvements and assist with implementing new or improved business processes.
• Provide ongoing support to leasing, sales, marketing and business development teams.
• Develop strong working relationships with other operational team members.
• Protect proprietary information through non-disclosure.
• Continuously learn and implement improvements to deliver world-class service.
