Job summary

CBL Properties in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Lease Maintenance Analyst I to support tenant onboarding, lease billings, and related analytics. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Yardi.

You will audit leases, generate billings, assist with billing policies, and help train teammates while learning broader business processes. This is a hands-on role at our corporate office with growth opportunities as you master property management systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, plus 1 year of related professional experience preferred.
• Five (5) years of related commercial real estate billing experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and analyze leases, contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with retailers.
• Strong analytical skills to assess the financial impact of billing activity.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, self-starter.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of Yardi and CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new tenants including tenant portal support.
• Audit new/renewal lease/license setups.
• Run and distribute all tenant-related billings, including recurring and one-time billings, sales overage and utilities.
• Conduct lease certificate renewal reviews.
• Assist in maintaining Yardi and CRM-related billing processes.
• Assist in maintaining Billing Policy and Procedures and training manuals.
• Provide coverage for Senior Analysts as needed.
• Learn other areas of the business to understand overall Lease Maintenance impact.
