We are hiring a Billing Assistant to join our team in our Rockville, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals and contracts to ensure the monthly billing process is timely and accurate.
• Prepare monthly billing reports for project managers, process, post, print, and mail invoices to clients.
• Review monthly revenue and unbilled revenue to ensure compliance with GAAP and FAR regulations.
• Update project setup in Deltek Vision and billing files as needed.
• Assist Billing Manager and Controller during annual financial audit tasks related to billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of experience in Accounting or Office Administration.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact with managers and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Post‑secondary education in Accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
