Job summary

The HR Group in Prague, OK is hiring a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to own client invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. You’ll support each company’s accountant, keep billing organized, and ensure timely payments, while maintaining professional relationships with clients.

This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to manage high transaction volumes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, or a related accounting role.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort handling difficult payment conversations.
• High accuracy across large transaction volumes.
• Strong organization and follow-through, and discretion with sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Assist each company's accountant with billing.
• Attend billing meetings and help keep the team organized and on track.
• Create and send accurate client invoices on schedule.
• Track outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts by phone and email.
• Escalate delinquent accounts per company procedure while keeping client relationships professional.
