SMS Holdings Corporation is seeking a Billing Specialist to oversee billing, accounts receivable, and collections to support revenue cycle efficiency. You’ll ensure accurate invoicing, apply payments, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining customer relationships.

The role requires an Associate's degree (or equivalent) and 1–3 years of billing/AR experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. Strong attention to detail and deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years of billing/AR experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains).
• Intermediate Excel skills for billing data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Billing & invoicing: prepare cost-plus billing and validate inputs.
• Accounts receivable & cash application: post payments and reconcile subledgers.
• Collection management: contact overdue accounts and document activity.
• Reporting & process improvement: perform reconciliations and prepare routine reports.
