Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an AR/Billing Specialist role.
• Industry experience: Construction, Semiconductor, Trucking, Logistics, Industrial Suppliers, or Equipment rental.
• Experience with Tailwind, SAP, or Excel.
• Strong Excel skills – VLOOKUPs and creating reports.
• Understanding of accounts payable & receivable.
• Ability to produce weekly AR/AP aging reports and disbursements.
• Knowledge of Logistics and brokering.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of AR/Billing Specialists, Supervisor, and Billing Manager.
• Manage and process daily carrier invoices both on the U drive & Tailwind program.
• Ensure orders are completed correctly, including PO#, branch, location, & driver.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date billing information.
• Analyze billing discrepancies and resolve issues with carriers and factoring companies.
• Ensure timely and accurate production of invoices and month-end billing reconciliation.
• Maintain documents for setting up new carriers: W9, COI, NOA’s, and carrier packets.
• Prepare reports on billing activities and account status.
• Apply vendor payments and customer payments daily.
• Open communication with dispatchers and team leaders.
• Cross-train with billing team for coverage during vacations.
