Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Billing Clerk to perform clerical and administrative tasks in a terminal office setting. You will utilize dispatch and billing systems to track deliveries, prepare billing records, and respond to customer inquiries while maintaining accurate data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of billing experience in the transportation industry.
• Proficiency in standard office suite software and ability to learn specialized document management and accounting programs.
• Familiarity with operation of standard office equipment including phone system, copier, fax, and scanner.
• Excellent organization skills with ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift or pull weights up to 25 pounds and work nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes dispatch and billing systems to track deliveries and prepare billing records and documentation.
• Accurately enters billing data into standard documents and reports.
• Responds promptly and courteously to customer billing inquiries.
• Researches and resolves billing documentation discrepancies.
• Compiles data and enters it into various reports; coordinates terminal billing with corporate departments.
• Answers phones at the terminal office and routes calls as needed.
