Job summary

EGC Group, based in Melville, NY, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing team. This full-time role handles client invoicing, accounts receivable, and financial record management to ensure accurate billing and reporting. DOE salary range is $52,000–$65,000.

You will work with internal teams to maintain processes, prepare schedules for month-end close, and support with AP. We value organization, discretion, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing and accounting experience (marketing or agency preferred).
• Proficient with billing software and Excel.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue client invoices based on campaigns, retainers, and project deliverables.
• Track billable hours, media spend, and third-party costs across multiple accounts.
• Reconcile discrepancies between contracts, scopes of work, and billed services.
• Coordinate with account managers, media buyers, and finance team to verify billing details.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation for audits and reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, including preparing schedules and resolving outstanding items.
• Willing to work long hours during the month end close and tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable, financial processes, billing software.
• Accounts Payable support.
