EEA Companies in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Junior Accountant to support software billing, accounts receivable, and multi-entity accounting operations. You will work with the Accounting Manager and Staff Accountants to ensure accurate financial processing and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset to improve billing procedures and workflows within a multi-entity organization.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, debits/credits, GL activity, reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and basic accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage recurring and contract-based customer billing; ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
• Review contracts, billing schedules, pricing, and periods.
• Maintain customer billing records and update information in NetSuite.
• Process payments, research unapplied cash, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable and routine bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly financial imports from third-party property managers.
• Support intercompany transactions and annual 1099 preparation.
