EGC Group in Melville, NY is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role focuses on client invoicing, tracking billable activities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure precise financial records.

Responsibilities include month-end close support and maintaining billing documentation. The role offers full-time hours with a supportive team and growth opportunities within an award-winning performance media agency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing and accounting experience; marketing or agency background preferred.
• Proficient with billing or accounting software and Excel.
• Strong communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and issue client invoices based on campaigns, retainers, and project deliverables.
• Track billable hours, media spend, and third-party costs across multiple accounts.
• Reconcile discrepancies between contracts, scopes of work, and billed services.
• Coordinate with account managers, media buyers, and finance to verify billing details.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation for audits and reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, including schedules and resolving outstanding items.
• Willing to work long hours during month end close and tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable, financial processes, billing software.
• Accounts Payable support.
