Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in Atlanta seeks an experienced Billing Analyst to join our office. The Billing Analyst will support billing and invoicing operations, report to the Billing Manager, and work closely with attorneys to ensure timely changes and successful submissions.

Essential traits include organization, responsiveness, and a positive attitude. The role involves handling high-volume bills, applying retainer funds, and ensuring accuracy across complex billing scenarios.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree required. (Accounting, Business, Legal Studies).
• Accounting and Billing software experience is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and HTML (web-based) programs.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
• Top-notch organizational skills for optimal workflow and efficiency.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and corrects errors quickly.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and work demands.
• Pro-active, follows through with minimum direction, and shows initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Compiles and bills attorney hours to clients every month.
• Reviews and edits pre-bills in response to attorney and secretary requests.
• Apply retainer funds as directed by an attorney.
• Execute high volume and complex bills in a timely manner.
• Interact with attorneys, secretaries, and clients effectively.
• Review and verify the accuracy of billing and supporting documentation.
• Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues.
• Create billing schedules and other billing analysis as required.
• Prints final client billing and ensures accuracy.
• Follows Firm billing policies and established procedures.
• Utilizes billing software and collaborates with E-Billing team to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
