Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. in Culver City, CA is seeking a Billing Clerk to manage direct and subcontractor invoicing. You will enter data from multiple databases to compile timecard and expense information for client billing.

The role requires strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), familiarity with Salesforce and CRM systems, and the ability to analyze large datasets. You will work with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with moderate Excel skills and formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF logic formulas, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large, complex data.
• Ability to take ownership and initiate processes independently.
• Experience using Salesforce and standard database software across PC and iOS environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external parties.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and audit a high-volume of Time & Expense records and subcontractor bills to ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Compare employee timecards and subcontractor bills against customer contracts and rates to ensure accuracy before invoicing.
• Reference Client-specific billing expectations and ensure all invoiced records meet those specifications.
• Utilize AI tools to analyze billing files, flag irregularities, and shorten review cycles while maintaining precision.
• Enter, track, and manage billing records across CRM systems.
• Serve as the point of contact to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
