Job summary

CFS in Norwood, MA is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager to lead high-volume billing and AR across multiple construction projects. This onsite role offers ownership of AIA billing, change orders, and collections, working with PMs, engineers, and accounting leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in billing/AR, construction industry experience, and strong Excel with Sage Intacct. A degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred, with solid communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing and accounts receivable experience.
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with AIA billing, progress billing, and construction contracts highly desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage Intacct or similar.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume billing and accounts receivable activities across multiple construction projects.
• Prepare and submit AIA billing applications, including G702/G703, and progress billings.
• Track change orders, project milestones, and percentage-of-completion data to ensure accurate billing.
• Partner with Project Managers and Engineers to review project billing and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on collections, and resolve customer billing disputes.
• Maintain accurate billing documentation and support improvements to cash flow and operational efficiency.
