Requirements include a high school diploma, bilingual English/Spanish, and two years in behavioral or social services. The position offers full benefits starting day one and a $24.90/hour rate, with shifts Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in behavioral sciences or human services.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Respond sensitively to diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state guidelines for this position.
• Develop and implement a monthly recreational activity calendar.
• Ensure recreational supplies and equipment are available.
• Identify and maintain community partners and volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer participation in activities.
• Provide clear verbal directions during activities.
• Document each child’s progress in monthly and quarterly reports.
• Supervise staff during off-campus recreational outings.
• Use positive child management techniques including de-escalation.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and training; evening/ weekend shifts as needed.
