Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise development of shift schedules and staff assignments.
• Monitor documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with agency policies.
• Assist with orientation of new children and staff.
• Provide input into development of treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of positive child management techniques including verbal redirection, de-escalation, and containment.
• Plan, organize and supervise activities for children per daily schedule.
• Maintain a secure campus environment and follow radio communication protocols.
• Be a positive role model for the service population.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Implement safety protocols including evacuations during emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
